Join Solidarity Notes Labour Choir and City of Burnaby Heritage Planner Lisa Codd for an evening of song and short presentations about some of the protests and strikes that are part of Burnaby’s history. Singing along is encouraged! In partnership with the City of Burnaby Community Heritage Commission.

Labour Day at the PNE

CUPE BC is proud to have the Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) host us this year for Labour Day in Vancouver.  We will be rallying with other Unions, District Councils and the BC Fed at the Coliseum to kick off a fun day at the PNE.

We will have early entry available at Gate 6, with the CUPE trailer onsite for members to pick up wristbands.  Parking will be in lot 6; 250 spots will be available by registering early and getting your parking pass in advance.

April 28, 2018 – Day of Mourning for Workers Killed or Injured on the Job

Below is a map of the area.  Westminster Pier Park is on the Fraser River in New Westminster.  Access from Begbie Street is via the parking lot adjacent to the Fraser River Discovery Centre.  Elevator access is via the 4th Street parkade.  The nearest Skytrain station is Columbia.  We will be gathering in the plaza area in front of the concession building known as Lytton Square.  The wreath laying procession at the conclusion of the event will be to WOW Westminster Public Art on Timber Wharf.
