Election Results
At the AGM last night the results of the 2022 elections were announced. These are not all the Executive Board positions, just the ones that were not acclaimed in March and were part of the voting process. A complete updated list of the 2022-2023 Executive Board will be posted later.

Our March Membership Meeting is also our Nomination Meeting.
Nominations are open now and close at the meeting on March 16. You can use the form or nominate someone verbally at the meeting. Nomination form here.
Members can run for positions if they have attended a minimum of two General Membership or Divisional meetings in the previous twelve (12) months.
Positions up for election in 2022 are:
- President (3 year term)
- Treasurer (2 year term)
- All Division Officers (1 year term)
- 2 Precarious Workers (1 year term)
- Outside & Library Trustee (2 year term)
- Foremen Trustee (1 year term)

There will be nominations for vacant positions at our November General Membership meeting:
- Foremen 2nd Vice-Chair
- Foremen Trustee
- Precarious Member at Large

Elections & AGM 2021
Members who have given their email address to the office will receive an email on April 14 to vote in this year’s Executive Board elections.
The 2021 CUPE 23 Annual General Meeting will be held on April 21. Members who are subscribed to the email list will receive the link to register to the meeting.
Nominations for elections are open
The March Membership meeting is our Nomination Meeting. Members in good standing who have attended at least 2 meetings in the last year can be nominated for the following positions:
- Secretary
- All Division Chairs, 1st Vice Chair, 2nd Vice Chair
- Inside, Foremen & Library Trustees
- Precarious Workers (2)

Nominations will also be accepted at the meeting.

Ratification Vote update
We need to make a clarification to a question that was asked at tonight’s information meeting – ALL MEMBERS, sworn in or not – will have the opportunity to vote on the Memorandum of Agreement. If you do not receive the voting email from Simply Voting in the next 2 days, contact the office – 604-298-0200 – admin@cupe23.ca – to make sure that we have your personal email address on file.
