Summerland Wildfire Support

At the October General Membership meeting it was decided that CUPE 23 will match member donations to Summerland Wildfire Support up to $1,500.00.

Any monies received will be matched up to $1,500.00 and those funds will be sent to the Summerland Food Bank.

You can e-transfer to treasurer AT cupe23.ca and write SUMMERLAND in the memo line of the e-transfer.

Please forward any donations by Friday, November 13, 2026.

Notice of Motion – Constitution & By-Law changes

As announced at the September Membership meeting, members will be voting on the proposed Constitution & By-Law changes at the October Membership meeting.

You will find all the proposed changes as announced on the Members Only page for your review. The Constitution & By-Laws Committee will host information meetings prior to voting. They will be posted soon.

2026 Election Results

Thanks to everyone who participated in the elections this year, candidates and members who voted. It’s important for the health of our union to have good engagement from our members.

 

For this election there were 1777 eligible voters. 717 votes were cast, which is a 40.3% turnout. Here are the results:
