Nomination Period for 2023 Elections
The Nomination Period is now open. Nominations close at the March 15 Membership meeting.
In accordance with Article 7 of the Constitution and Bylaws of the Burnaby Civic Employees’ Union, the Executive Board has cause to form an Elections Committee for the purpose of Nomination and Election of Table and Division Officers, as well as Trustees where applicable.
- You must be sworn in and attended a minimum of 2 General Membership or Division Meetings to be eligible for NOMINATION.
- You must be sworn-in to VOTE for your Division Officers and Executive Board Members. If you are not sure, please call the Union office.
- Members who have not already done so can be sworn in at the General Membership Meeting on WEDNESDAY, MARCH 15, 2023, at 5:30PM via ZOOM.
Elections will be held electronically between April 12 – 18, 2023, via your personal email. Results of each election shall be announced at the Annual General Meeting on April 19, 2023.
